Rahal Ducati Cleveland: Creating Motorcycles and Dreams in Brunswick
By Jack Wilmot, BEAT reporter
BRUNSWICK, OH- Motorcycles have been iconic throughout history, and many are passionate about the vehicle. Rahal Ducati Cleveland is the exclusive authorized Ducati dealership in Northeast Ohio, located at 1456 Pearl Road in Brunswick. The business chose this specific location because Brunswick is a place close to Cleveland, Strongsville, and Medina.
The manager of this location, Kyle Root, entered the industry after watching a YouTube video late at night and seeing a pop-up ad about Arizona University. The next morning, he ended up applying to the same college, where he later enrolled and discovered the vehicle industry. His friend, Austin, introduced him to dirt bikes, which made him fall in love with motorcycles. Root was also inspired by an online influencer, which is when he saw the pop-up ad for the university.
Ducati motorcycle prices can range from the mid-teens to close to, if not over, six figures. At the Brunswick location, Root shared with us an extremely rare Ducati – the Panigale Lamborghini V4. “This is number 182 of only 630 created,” said Root. “They cost approximately $78,400.”
The biggest Ducati location is in Dallas, Texas, because of the year-round weather that's perfect for riding motorcycles, and with people not shy about spending money. However, Ducati was looking to expand, and Brunswick seemed like the perfect place.
Ducati is one of the largest motorcycle retailers in the world, with over 100 new locations in the last 5 years. Ducati still opens multiple shops yearly and continues to be one of, if not the most reliable, motorcycle brands across the U.S.
