Building More than Wins: Coach Angela Fink Prepares for 2026-27 BHS Girls Basketball Season

BRUNSWICK, OH- The basketball season is long and challenging—it takes a lot of work and dedication to make it through to the end. With the right coach, though, a team can accomplish its goals. Angela Fink, the Brunswick Varsity Girls Basketball coach, has her eyes set on the future to continue to build a strong program for female athletes for years to come.
Fink wrapped up her third season of coaching during the 2025-26 school year. She’s proud of the growth that the girls made this past year, and the fun they had together, both returning and new players alike.
Promoting confidence in female athletes is an important part of Fink’s job. Fink believes that the more work that you put into building your skills, the more confident you will become. When you become more confident, you trust yourself more. “It’s important to remember that there are always ups and downs,” said Fink. She added that it’s especially important for the team members to recognize that when one person is down, they should work together to lift them up.
As Fink prepares for next season, she said there are a lot of returning upper-classmen who know what it takes to win close games and lead. A challenging schedule lies ahead of the team, and her goal is to ensure the girls play hard with a lot of heart and to work through adversity together. She looks forward to playing the rival teams because the competition is tough and the girls play hard. It’s sure to be another great season for the Brunswick girls' basketball program!
