BRUNSWICK, OH- Royalton Music Center is home to a dedicated roster of educators, but few bring the depth of experience that Eric Hoffman offers. Eric Hoffman is a teacher at Royalton Music Center. He has been teaching for a long time and is a very experienced music teacher.
Hoffman plays both the piano and cello because both of the instruments use the same clef. He has been playing cello for 40 years and piano for only 4 years. Additionally, Hoffman joined the Ashland Symphony Orchestra as a cello player.
Hoffman started his music career by playing in his school orchestra in fifth grade. Later, when Hoffman graduated, he decided to become a music teacher for cello and later piano.
As a music teacher, Hoffman never gets mad or impatient with any students. He is always patient even when a student is having trouble. Hoffman stated, “Often when a student has trouble playing their music, we skip it and go do something easier.” His favorite part of being a teacher is watching his students slowly getting better every day.
