Bakery Overload: Brunswick’s Fat and Fluffy Bakery

BRUNSWICK, OH- Who doesn’t like a homemade dessert? Tammy Reinke, the founder of Brunswick-based Fat and Fluffy Bakery, makes all sorts of baked goods such as cookies, brownies, sweet bread, fudge and cookie cakes. In the past, she has even made cookie tables for weddings.

Reinke’s delicacies can be found at many markets around Medina and Brunswick. She also attends craft fairs throughout the area. Reinke explained it takes around 20 to 30 hours to prepare for an event, but it all depends on what event she is baking for and what baked goods she is making. This process includes prep, baking, packaging, and labeling. She also does custom orders. “I still love making the decorated cookies,” said Reinke. “Taking the custom orders is my favorite part.”

Reinke’s bakery wasn’t always called “Fat and Fluffy”; it used to be called Tammy Dee’s Sweet Treats. The way she came up with her new name was inspired. “One weekend I was taking a few leftovers to my coworkers and told my husband, 'Yeah, I'm taking these fat cookies and fluffy marshmallows-' and it hit me. Fat and Fluffy Bakery – what a great name,” said Reinke. “So, after the holiday season of 2024, I officially "rebranded" and became Fat and Fluffy as of 2025.”

In the future, Reinke would love to open a full-time bakery, but currently she is operating out of her house.
